A practical course for beginners without experience who want to try themselves in a new profession – web designer.

In two months you will understand the basic set of tools and principles of working in Figma. You will search for and generate ideas, learn to think like a designer. We will get acquainted with basics of work with text, creation of layouts, use of grid, basic work with graphics. We gain knowledge through practice, so we use the skills in projects right away.

All you need to get started is your desire. At the end you will have several projects for the first portfolio and choose the vector of further development.

  • Visual Styles, Major Trends
  • Psychology of Attention and Perception, Gestalt.
  • Raster and vector images. Screen Resolution. SVG. Effects in Figma.
  • Practice. Design styles and visual hierarchy. UI-kit.

Typography. Color.

  • Types of fonts. What font families are better to use in what cases. Font pairs.
  • Font styles in Figma. How fonts work in web. Web safe fonts. Google fonts. Readability.
  • Basics of color management. Nuance, contrast, color schemes. RGB, CMYK, HEX. – Color styles in Figma.

Module 3
Vector Graphics
Fundamentals of working with vector graphics. Practice.

  • Working with vectors in Figma. Basics of working in Adobe Illustrator.

Basics of Adobe Photoshop. Tools. Working with files and images. Principles of working with layers and masks.

Module 4
Basics of animation. Making a Case on Behance
Basics of animation. Practice.

  • Working with Protopie animation. The basis of work in Adobe After Effects.
    Behance cases. Practice .

Examples, basic sizes, basic blocks. Moocaps. Features of the pitch. How to assemble a case.
